I’ve played a lot of games with myself and what I’ve many times found is, even though I’m thinking for my opponent and anticipating the moves, I sometimes come up with a move that I didn’t think of before. Wow! The joy was short-lived when I realized that even if I move the other pieces, I could still lose like I’ve lost many times while playing with myself. I suddenly realized that I had the power to move other pieces.
